Royal Global School Makes a Mark at NEIMUN, 2015

A twelve member delegation from Royal Global School participated inthe North East India Model United Nations (NEIMUN) Conference, 2015 from 1st to 4th November. The conference was attended by 250 students from different parts of the country. While Tarun Chandra Agarwal representing Uganda was elected the Chairperson for the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), Nimisha Patra representing France in the World Conference on Indigenous Peoples (WCIP) and Pinyadrith Tarafdar representing the United Kingdom in Social Cultural and Humanitarian Committee (SOCHUM) baggedthe ‘Diplomacy Award’ individually.

2nd All Assam Pool & Snooker Tournament

In the recently concluded 2ndAll Assam Pool & Snooker Tournamentorganized by Guwahati Pool and Snooker Association which was held at Physical Point Pool Club, Guwahati from 9th-12thOct., 2015, Chayam Chawla of Royal Global Schoolbecame Champion in U-14 Boys Event. In the same category, Aryan Gattani of RGS became Runner-Up in Pool U-14 Boys event.Vivan Agarwala of RGS became Runner-Up in Snooker and Pool U-19 Boys event. Also LokeshBaheti of RGS again got 2nd Runner-Up in U-19 Pool Boys event.

Sub-Junior/Junior National Squash Championship 2015

Following Students of Royal Global School have taken part in Sub-Junior/Junior National Squash Championshipwhich held at The Calcutta Racket Club, J.L. Nehru Road, Kolkata from 24th – 29th October, 2015.

1st Assam Valley Invitational Inter School Swimming Meet

In the recently concluded 1st Assam Valley Invitational Inter School Swimming Meetwhich was held at Assam Valley School, Tezpur from 10thto 12th Oct., 2015, Royal Global School bagged the second position in the meet with 33 Medals.The details of the Medal winners are as follows:

CBSE East Zone Swimming Report

In the recently concluded CBSE East Zone Swimming Tournament which was held at Delhi Public School, Kanpur from 3rdto 5th Oct., 2015, Miss Lavleen Dasof Royal Global School secured Gold Medal in 4 X 200 M IM and Silver Medal in 50 M Butterfly and 50 M Freestyle in Under 14 Girls event. Miss Violina Das of Royal Global Schoolalso receivedSilver Medal in both 50 M & 100 M Backstroke events in U-19 Girls category. As a result of that both Violina Das and Lavleen Das of Royal Global School qualified for participation in the Nationals which will be held at Karan Public School, Pandav Nagar, Meerut from 18th – 21st November, 2015.

CBSE Cluster-I Table Tennis Report

In the recently concluded CBSE Cluster- ITable Tennis Tournament which was held at Don Bosco School, Panbazar from 16thto 18th Oct., 2015 Guwahati,Miss Akanksha Deka of Royal Global School secured Gold Medal in Under 19 Girls Singles event. RGS also clinched Bronze Medal in U-19 Girls team event. The Team consists of Snigdha Deb, Tanvi Borah and Akanksha Deka. As a result of that, Akanksha Deka qualified for the Nationals in U-19 Girls Singles eventwhich will be held at Shantiniketan Vidyapeeth School, Meerut from 02ndto 06th December, 2015. The team was escorted by Mr. Tapuban Das, Table Tennis Coach of RGS.
