Royal Global School has been ranked as No. 1 Day-Cum-Boarding School in Assam by Education World India School Ranking Awards (ISRA). The award was presented by Padma Bhushan Dr. Shayama Chona and Divya Lal, Chief Operating Officer, Smartclass Business. Director Mr. A K Sinha received the award on behalf of the school.
Royal Global School has been awarded with the title "Innovation in the campus Infrastructure" in the 10th World Education Summit 2017 held at Hotel Le Meridien in New Delhi on Saturday evening, August 12, 2017. The award was presented by Ravi Gupta, Editor in chief & CEO, Elets Techno media and Health Minister. Principal Mrs. Anubha Goyal received the award on behalf the school.
On 14th April 2017 Shri AK Pansari, Chairman of Royal Global School was awarded with "Shri Moi Oxomi Botah 2017" for his contribution in the education sector towards overall development of Assam land and its people. Dyuksha Hazarika and Nimisha Patra were awarded for the captions in the Caption Contest on World Health Day organized by the Department of Psychiatry, Gauhati Medical College in association with World Health Organisation.
Dyuksha’s captions, ‘Deep regret for life lived, deep sorrow for a life to be lived and deep pain to live now is depression.’ and ‘ When all you want to do is glide along the moon river, glide on, glide on until infinity and beyond and reach into nothingness, no pain no gain!’ were adjudged FIRST and SECOND respectively while Nimisha’s caption, ‘You, depression, are my age old friend. This time, I say goodbye for good because this time, I will not let you hold me, I will not let you ruin me. I am worthy of love, I am worthy of living.’ was adjudged THIRD.
On 3rd September 2016, Dr. Chona, Principal Advisor to Royal Global School was honored with ‘The Most Influential Educationist in India Award’ at “Celebrating 69 – Pride of the Nation” and “India’s Most Influential Education Brand & Leader 2015–16 – AsiaOne White Swan Awards”, in Mumbai. Royal Global School congratulates Sannidhya Sharma for clearing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2016, with an all India ranking of 3184, the result was of which was declared on Sunday. Sannidhya has always been a very bright student and had topped the school science stream in the AISSCE, 2016 with an aggregate of 96.6%.

A twelve member delegation from Royal Global School participated inthe North East India Model United Nations (NEIMUN) Conference, 2015 from 1st to 4th November. The conference was attended by 250 students from different parts of the country. While Tarun Chandra Agarwal representing Uganda was elected the Chairperson for the Disarmament and International Security Committee (DISEC), Nimisha Patra representing France in the World Conference on Indigenous Peoples (WCIP) and Pinyadrith Tarafdar representing the United Kingdom in Social Cultural and Humanitarian Committee (SOCHUM) baggedthe ‘Diplomacy Award’ individually.
In the recently concluded 2ndAll Assam Pool & Snooker Tournamentorganized by Guwahati Pool and Snooker Association which was held at Physical Point Pool Club, Guwahati from 9th-12thOct., 2015, Chayam Chawla of Royal Global Schoolbecame Champion in U-14 Boys Event. In the same category, Aryan Gattani of RGS became Runner-Up in Pool U-14 Boys event.Vivan Agarwala of RGS became Runner-Up in Snooker and Pool U-19 Boys event. Also LokeshBaheti of RGS again got 2nd Runner-Up in U-19 Pool Boys event.
