20th March is observed as ‘World Sparrow Day’ by people to create awareness about the importance of sparrows in pollination, pest control and as indicators of the health of the environment. Royal Global School feels privileged to be a part of the celebration organised by Bishram Ghar, at the Conference Hall of Assam Legislative Assembly, Dispur. It was presided over by Hon’ble Speaker of Assam Legislative Assembly , Shri Biswajit Daimary. Organic Bamboo Bird Nests, designed by Prof. (Dr.) A.K.Das, IIT Guwahati were inaugurated and various dignitaries drew our attention to the immense significance of this tiny bird, which was once upon a time such a common sight in every household. The fragile balance in the ecosystem can be maintained if the human race has more empathy and understanding of the role played by every organism on this beautiful planet that is our home.

The kindergarten branch of Royal Global School, Guwahati celebrated its 11th Graduation Ceremony on 10 March 2023 at the school Colosseum. The program entailed a unique blend of performances done by the kindergarten children. They showcased various dances and songs of Hawaii like the very famous ‘Hula dance’, the Hawaiian folk song ‘Aloha Oe’, and many more that left the audience spellbound.
