The Annual Inter House Senior Sports Meet 2021-22 was a two-day event which began on 18th February and concluded today amidst great enthusiasm and fervor. The opening ceremony set the tone for the day’s events by raising the student’s team spirit and excitement. The students cheered for their Houses as the players took their positions on the field. A Yoga demonstration was done by the students accompanied by an energetic and motivating song and dance performance. Short speeches were delivered by our Sports Coordinator Mr. Ashok Talukdar and the sports Captain of the school. The first event was the Inter House Volleyball competition followed by Basketball and Football. Day 2 began with the Finals of the various sports. The highlights were the Track and Field events and the Prize distribution ceremony. The Sports event instilled energy and positivity across the entire campus.
Marking the arrival of the spring season, Vasant Panchami is celebrated every year across India. This year, it is being celebrated on February 5 when people worship Goddess Saraswati and seek her blessings. According to the Hindu culture, Goddess Saraswati is a symbol of prosperity and represents wisdom and knowledge. The school campus was beautifully decorated with handmade paper flowers and garlands of marigolds and mango leaves. All the teachers, staff and students came together to worship goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of Knowledge, Art and Music. The fragrance of flowers, the aroma of the burning camphor in lamps and the bright paper designs fluttering under the blue skies filled the school environment with peace and positivity.
