Presence of mind, wit and good language skills are the three very important qualities needed by each and every one of us in today’s world to be successful in any profession.
Keeping this in mind and to provide our children an opportunity to hone these skills from a very young age, Royal Global School organised an online inter-section ‘Show and Tell’ competition on the 26th of May, 2021 for the Second graders of the school where each participant was instructed to pick out one object from their home environment and speak on it.
The children participated with great enthusiasm and it was exciting for everyone present including our esteemed judges, Mrs. Simran Agarwalla and Mrs. Neha Siotia, to see each participant rush to get the items and find appropriate words to talk about them. The event was a great success mainly due to the support of all the parents in these difficult and challenging times.
Best Out of Waste Competition
Making the best out of waste has been a part of human life since the early ages. It was the human creative mind that gave birth to this extraordinary idea of using unwanted material in a useful way. In today’s world recycling has a very important place. So, keeping this in mind, in the second round of online intersection competition the Group C of the 2nd graders had a ‘Best Out of Waste Competition’ on 26th May 2021, Wednesday. The criteria of the competition were presentation, use of material, innovation and overall effect. The event displayed the creativity of the little ones and also helped them to realise the importance of recycling and reusing waste materials. Our esteemed judges Mrs.Ankita Agarwal and Mrs.Priyanka Jain appreciated the kids for their ability to think and organise their thoughts to create such beautiful items.
