The Founder's Day, which was celebrated on 21st December at Royal Global School, was a gala event. There was Shiva: The Musical Drama on one hand and Shakespeare Unscripted on the other to enthrall the audience.

The program commenced with the felicitation of the Chief Guest, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Obeisance was paid to Lord Ganesha through the Ganesh Vandana.

The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. Hitesh Baruah, a doctor by profession and the MD of Nemcare Hospitals. The Guests of Honour were Mr. Sachin Jalan and Ms. Sonu Jalan, parents of one of our students. The Director of the school praised the students for their hard work and stupendous performance.

The Annual Report was read by the Head Boy, Arham Dudhoria, and the Head Girl, Arisha Sheikh. Students were given prizes for excelling in various fields.

The program ended, leaving the audience mesmerised.

Royal Global School hosted its Primary School Concert, "Royal Symphony", on 13th December 2024, enchanting an audience of over 900.

The event opened with a soulful Saraswati Vandana, followed by Nursery to Grade II presenting 'Rhythms of India' to celebrate cultural diversity. The Director, Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay, encouraged parents to celebrate their children's potential, while Chief Guest Mr. Rajiv Garg, IRS, praised the students' performances.

Awards were given to 14 students for excellence, and a musical play, "Ode to Nature", by Grades III to V highlighted environmental conservation. The evening left the audience captivated and proud.

Grade III students and teachers at RGS enjoyed an overnight event filled with joy and learning. The evening featured light refreshments, traditional Indian games, a screening of the animated film Luca, and a heartwarming campfire where stories and personal experiences were shared, strengthening their bond. The next morning included a nature walk and an insightful visit to Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio, offering a glimpse into filmmaking. The event concluded with delicious meals, leaving participants with cherished memories of togetherness and fun.

The Royal Debating Society (Vox Populi) hosted an Inter-Class English Debate Competition for Grade IV vs Grade V students on Tuesday, 3rd December. Six participants from each class, totaling twelve debaters, passionately debated the motion: This House believes that social media usage is a bad influence on children. Grade V were proposing the motion and Grade IV were opposing the motion.

All the participants delivered an outstanding performance. The results were as follows:

- Best Speaker: Khushii Chaudhary (Grade V)

- Most Promising Speaker: Jisha Jain (Grade V)

- Budding Speaker: Novyana B. Bordoloi (Grade V)

An Unforgettable Adventure for Grades IV and V

Students from Grades IV and V embarked on an enriching trip to Nameri National Park, where they experienced a unique blend of adventure and cultural immersion.

The day began with an exciting trek through the park's lush greenery, where students spotted a diverse array of flora and fauna. This was followed by a visit to a nearby Mishing village, where they were introduced to the vibrant traditions and customs of the local community.

During their visit, students observed the intricate art of weaving, gaining valuable insights into the community's exceptional skill and creativity. This immersive experience not only deepened their appreciation for nature and heritage but also fostered curiosity, respect, and empathy for local communities.

The trip was a memorable learning experience for all, offering a unique opportunity for students to connect with nature and culture in a meaningful way.
