Ritisha Mayra Rajbongshi (Grade VI) and Vivan Aariz Thakuria (Grade VI) proudly represented Assam in the Under-14 category at the 68th SGFI National Chess Championship 2025, held in Nanded, Maharashtra, from January 20-24, 2025. Their dedication and strategic brilliance have made us immensely proud!
Adding to our joy, three of our talented students have secured a place in the prestigious FIDE rating list:
Viraj Sarawgi – FIDE rating 1513, showcasing strategic brilliance.
Ritisha Mayra Rajbongshi – FIDE rating 1514, a testament to her tactical prowess.

Students of Royal Global School participated in the International Humanity Olympiad, conducted online in August 2024. The competition was held in two categories: Ankur (Grades V-VIII) and Pushp (Grades IX-XII).
Organized by the Satyug Darshan Trust (Regd.), Faridabad, the International Humanity Olympiad aims to uplift individuals, families, and society by enriching them with moral and ethical values. This platform allows participants to assess their own level of morality and cultivate humane qualities in a dignified manner. By fostering self-control and character development, individuals can strive to become noble and compassionate human beings.
We are proud to share that Puranjay Chakraborty (Grade VIII) secured an impressive 188th rank among 11 lakh participants. Additionally, Puranjay Chakraborty (Grade VIII) in the Ankur category and Prayash Kalita (Grade X) in the Pushp category have been recognized as School Toppers.

The Annual Prize Distribution for the session 2024-25 was held on 14th February 2025. After a year of exciting sports and activities, the Best House was announced for the session.
Tagore House emerged as the champion in multiple categories:
1.Best House in Activity – Tagore House
2.Best House in Sports – Tagore House
3.Cock House of the Year (Overall Best House) – Tagore House
The prizes were distributed by the Director of Royal Global School, in the esteemed presence of the Principal and Vice Principal. Before the prize distribution, the House Reports of all four houses were presented by their respective House Vice Captains.
The DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) program continues to cultivate a strong reading culture among young learners in the junior wing. This session highlighted their growing sense of responsibility, as books were taken out independently without the need for instructions. A calm and focused environment prevailed, reflecting deep engagement with reading material. This initiative plays a vital role in developing concentration, fostering a love for literature, and encouraging lifelong reading habits. Through DEAR, young minds are continuously inspired to explore the world of books with curiosity and enthusiasm.
