The summer sports coaching camp, which began on June 28th and concluded on July 7th, saw the participation of 139 students across seven different sports disciplines: cricket, football, badminton, swimming, chess, horse riding, and taekwondo. Among the participants, 12 students were from various schools.

During the camp's inauguration, Ashok Talukdar, the sports coordinator, introduced each visiting coach to all the attendees. The Students enjoyed participating in their respective sports.

The Principal Dr. Dillip Kumar Panda shared some valuable words with the attendees on the penultimate day. Vice Principal Binita Jain and the Principal felicitated the visiting coaches of chess, taekwondo, badminton, cricket, and football. Promising players from each sport were awarded trophies by their respective coaches, and certificates were distributed to all participants.

On June 24th and 25th, 2024, 'IT Competitions' were organised for students from Grades II to V, with all participants showing great enthusiasm.

Grade II students participated in the 'Card-Making Competition in Tux Paint,' creating stunning digital artwork that pushed boundaries. Grade III students participated in the 'Drawing Competition in Paint 3D.' With intuitive tools and endless possibilities, every stroke and texture helped them create masterpieces that resonated with beauty and serenity.

Grade IV students engaged in the 'Poster Making Competition' in MS Word, crafting attractive and informative posters using various program tools.

Grade V students showcased their skills in Video Editing in Photo Legacy. 'From adding music to applying effects, every detail reflected their vision and creativity.'

The winners were awarded certificates. We congratulate everyone and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

Meraki 2024, where creativity ignited and passions roared. From the intense battles of quiz and debate, to the soul-stirring melodies of songs and dance, to the added depth and artistry of declamation, photography, and one-act plays; every moment was a testament to the spirit of unity and excellence of the Royalites.

A team of 30 students and their class teacher visited the "Amar Ghor Old Age Home" for a donation drive. They brought along a variety of essential items such as rice, dal, aata, mustard oil, sugar, salt, biscuits, soya chunks, bread, ORS, soaps, suji, and muffins.

The students danced, sang, and enjoyed themselves with the elderly residents, creating a joyful atmosphere. They left the place with satisfaction and happiness, gaining valuable life lessons from the experience.

A father's tears and fears are unseen, his love is unexpressed, but his care and protection remain as a pillar of strength throughout a child's life.

The Royal Global School celebrated Father's Day for Grade IV and V on 19th June 2024.

The students, along with their fathers, used all their creativity to express their emotions through breathtaking dance and mesmerizing songs. To celebrate the special bonding of father and child, the school organized games where they were enthusiastically involved. Students exhibited their love and gratitude to their fathers with their heart-touching poems. The father and child's involvement, enthusiasm, and the spirit of participation highlighted the true, strong, and special bonding between a father and child.

Our school participated in the 1st DPSG Invitational Rapid Chess Tournament, hosted by Delhi Public School Guwahati on 7th and 8th June 2024.

Here are the winners for this event:

  1. Samaya Pansari won the Best Youngest Player of the Tournament award.
  2. Ritisha Mayra Rajbongshi secured 1st place in the Girls' category for Grades V-VIII.
  3. Jisha Jain secured 3rd place in the Girls' category for Grades V-VIII.

On the 7th of June, Royal Global School organised a workshop on the NCF-FS (Baalvatika and Jadui Pitara) as part of a broader effort to align educational practices with the goals of the NEP 2020. The session was held at the Colosseum and conducted by Vice Principal Binita Jain. Royal Global School hosted many schools from Guwahati and across the state, with facilitators and principals participating.

The session was further enriched by Anjali Chhabra, Joint Secretary, CBSE, who adeptly handled complex questions and provided thought-provoking answers. This fruitful session was organised as an awareness program, keeping in mind the guidelines that the Government of India aims to enforce throughout the country. The goal is to establish, implement, and transform the Indian education system to meet the needs of the 21st century and prepare students for future challenges.

The Social Outreach Club of the Royal Global School- 'Utsarga' with its old and new members visited the adopted village at Nortap, Sonapur on World Menstrual Hygiene Day. The club has been initiating the " Bleed with Dignity" campaign every year to create awareness amongst the women of the Nortap village about menstrual hygiene. Students were highly motivated to spread awareness of the importance of good hygiene and use of sanitary pads which they did wonderfully. Awareness was spread with the help of charts, campaigning, and interaction with the local women in their native languages. Sanitary pads were distributed among them. The day ended with wonderful dance performances by the over-enthusiastic students of the L.P. school in colorful attires showcasing their talents. It was followed by the distribution of prizes and other eatables amongst them. The members returned with hearts full of love, gratitude, and great learning. The club undoubtedly aimed to instill in our children the values of respect, sharing, caring, empathy, and compassion. A day filled with learning left an indelible mark on the children's minds and the hope to visit again sooner.
