A three-day professional development program titled Connecting Classrooms was conducted at Royal Global School. All the teachers from Grades VI to XII attended the program. The resource person for the professional development program (PD) was Dr. Arup K. Mukhopadhyay. The session began on the 11th of March with the topic Improving School Culture and concluded with "How to Become a Great Teacher?" Key highlights of the program included topics such as High-Performance Learning, Assessment vs Evaluation, Creating 21st-Century Classrooms, and Connecting learning objectives to Assessment. Teachers actively participated in group activities, team-building exercises, and independent learning sessions.
Royal Global School celebrated its Kindergarten Graduation Day with great joy and pride!
The event, graced by Chief Guest Dr. Partha Pratim Bora, featured mesmerizing shloka recitations by UKG students, educational skits, inspiring speeches by Director Dr. Arup Mukhopadhyay and Vice-Principal Ms. Binita Jain, and a magical flute performance by Shivank Pawan Baruah.
A heartfelt thanks to our wonderful hosts, the LKG students, co-host Udangshree Mushahary, and Ajau Haralu for delivering the vote of thanks. Congratulations to our young graduates and may curiosity and learning continue to light their path.
This year the prestigious “10th Global Road Safety Film” festival was held in Marrakech, Morocco, as a part of the Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety. The organizer of the event was “WHO” in Partnership with the “United Nations, World Bank, IRF (International Road Federation)” and other global organizations working on road safety.
During the festival, Vihaan Upadhay, a Grade IX student of Royal Global School, submitted his short film “SANDWICH” for which he conceptualized and wrote the plot. The film went on to win the award for “Best Film” in the category of Sustainable Development Goal 5 – Quality Education on Road Safety.
The Hon’ble Minister for State for Ministry of Road Transport and Highways who was present during the ceremony, can be seen with the trophy.
We wish Vihaan many more such accolades in the future as well.
