When children interact with animals, they build the all-important senses of connection, empathy and care. They feel a sense of responsibility and are curious to find out more about the animal (or even bird, insect or fish). As we explored all about Farm Animals, the children revisited the song 'Old MacDonald', read storybooks, engagement in open-ended artwork, expanded knowledge through audio-visual aids, visited eco-park to milk the cow and made a craft work. It was joy to see all of them involved and it was indeed a fun-filled learning experience.
