GRADE IX-XII. Shaping Futures, Inspiring Excellence
OBJECTIVES
Students in their senior years stand at the threshold of adulthood, needing to be shaped to face future challenges with confidence. Our focus is on Project-Based Learning, Activity-Based Learning, and Experiential Learning. At this stage, students develop the skills to conduct experiments and research, compose literary pieces, and tackle complex analytical problems. They are given the freedom to choose subjects across various streams, allowing them to pursue their innate talents and vocational interests.
TEACHING METHODOLOGIES
Project-Based Learning (PBL)
Project-Based Learning involves students in complex, real-world projects through which they develop and apply skills and knowledge. It emphasizes active exploration and problem-solving.
Key Features:

- Collaboration: Encourages teamwork, communication, and collaborative skills.
- Reflection: Students reflect on their learning experiences and outcomes.
Activity-Based Learning (ABL)
Activity-Based Learning focuses on hands-on activities that engage students in the learning process. It makes abstract concepts concrete through practical application.
Key Features:
- Hands-On Activities: Emphasis on learning by doing.
- Active Engagement: Students are physically and mentally engaged in learning tasks.
- Immediate Feedback: Students receive quick responses to their actions, aiding understanding.
- Interactive: Encourages interaction with peers and teachers, fostering a dynamic learning environment.
- Motivational: Activities are often fun and engaging, increasing student motivation.
Experiential Learning
Experiential Learning is a process through which students develop knowledge, skills, and values from direct experiences outside a traditional academic setting. It is often described as “learning through reflection on doing.”
Key Features:
- Direct Experience: Learning occurs through direct involvement in real-world experiences.
- Reflection: Critical reflection on experiences to derive meaningful insights.
- Personalized Learning: Tailors learning experiences to individual needs and interests.
- Application: Focus on applying learned concepts in practical situations.
