Royal Global School played host to the second Inter School Turn – Coat Debate on the 16 June 2015. The event attracted a lot of interest with aspiring participants from five different schools of the city showcasing their debating skills in order to win the coveted prize money. The competition took off with the staging of a play titled “Raptures of Memory” under the aegis of noted director and well known UN Activist, Mr. Parnab Mukherjee, wherein the visions of Gandhi for a better India as well as his historic visit to Assam was beautifully portrayed.

The RGS Fraternity bore witness to an enthralling motivational speaking session conducted by noted Ad Guru and Chief Executive of EQUUS, Mr. Swapan Seth on 26 June 2015. An eminent personality from the world of advertising as well as a name to reckon with amongst the stalwarts of the industry, Mr. Seth was heartily welcomed and felicitated with due honour by our Respected Principal Ma’am. What followed thereafter was a breezy tete-a-tete with our guest setting the auditorium on fire with his brilliant repertoire, unconventional views on life and witty repartees.

On 25th June 2015 Royal Global School witnessed for the first time the inter house play competition. The plays were based on Folk tales of the North east. The first house that put up their play was the Vivekananda house.They enacted the famous play ‘Tikhar aru Sutimuti Bai’which was edited by Lakhminath Bezbaruah.The play was enacted without any narrator.The actors were able to depict the culture of Assam to a certain extent.

The Summer Vacations kickstarted with a fiery round of workshops for the faculty members of RGS. Aimed at empowering and recognizing our strengths as well as enriching our vision towards achieving gratification and success in all forays of life, the series of such motivational sessions was spearheaded by an enthralling rendezvous with renowned counselor Loya Agarwal. Loya is a familiar name to reckon with amidst the RGS Fraternity since she has been a constant source of guidance and encouragement to our students as a visiting counselor in our premises.
